Finally we are up and running in Tooting Market and completed our first month of print selling and art classes.Our little slice of the market is home to many beautiful prints and paintings by a growing collection of artists. We stock some of the loveliest gifts and ceramics, after much scouring the land. We hope you will agree we have found something a bit different.Of course we are running art classes for big and small people:To begin with we have a regular class on Thursday for pre-schoolers £5 10.30 am and a second class at 11.15am. Saturday we are holding drop in creative making classes for ages 6 and above from 11am and again at 12.15. £7.Our class timetable is set to expand – we will be announcing a grown up printmaking course looking at Lino cutting as a reduction print using the lovely letters of Mena Jenkins as inspiration to create our own letter plates to print from.
